This installer updates version 4.0 of the following products:
StuffIt Deluxe, StuffIt SpaceSaver, DropStuff w/Expander Enhancer
and "third party" StuffIt products. This updater provides new
versions of the StuffIt Engine, StuffIt Browser, and StuffIt SpaceSaver
components. If you already performed a previous update to 4.0,
this update provides additional fixes. There are no new features.
If you have a previous version of the StuffIt Engine (i.e. StuffIt
Deluxe version 3.5.2), this updater will not be of any use to

This installer updates Aladdin Desktop Tools versions 1.0.1 and
1.0.2 to version 1.0.3 for System 7.5.5 and 7.6 compatability.
Specifically, this updater installs a new Desktop SpeedBoost,
Desktop Makeover, as well as SpeedBoost Monitor. There are no
new features in the updated componentsof Aladdin Desktop Tools.
This update is only for System 7.5.5 and 7.6 compatability. ADT
1.0 users may also install the ADT 1.0.1 update (FIRST!) to gain
new versions of the Desktop Shortcut, and Magic Menu control panels.
If you own ADT 1.0 and also own StuffIt Deluxe version 4.0 or
greater, after installing the ADT 1.0 -> 1.0.1 Updater, you will
receive an outdated verion of the Magic Menu control panel. After
running the ADT 1.0 -> 1.0.1 Updater, restart your Macintosh with
Extensions off (hold down the shift key during startup) and open
the Control Panels folder.
Find the file "~Magic Menu" and drag it to the trash. This is
an older version of Magic Menu, and is replaced by the new True
Finder Integration control panel.

This application updates the StuffIt Lite BinHex4 3.0.7 translator
to version 3.0.7*, fixing a problem with encoding and decoding,
which caused the translator to cease execution of StuffIt Lite.
(Note: the "*" in the 3.0.7* is actually a "bullet", a large black
dot. But since the "bullet" is not an ASCII Text character we
have substituted a "*" character in this description.) If you
have StuffIt Deluxe OR already have the 3.0.7* BinHex4 translator
