Q: The Serialization Example included with InstallerMaker causes my installer to crash and generally act strange on certain machines. What's the matter?

A: The Serialization Example released with InstallerMaker 4.0 didn't manage the A4 register properly. Under earlier versions of InstallerMaker, it didn't need to. However changes in InstallerMaker 4.0 required that extensions properly setup and restore A4. The Serialization Example released with InstallerMaker 4.1 properly manages the A4 register.
