Q: Why do my CyberFinder(tm) bookmarks show as generic icons?

A: There may be a few reasons why the icons are generic.

1. Make sure that your CyberFinder is still within the 15 day trial period. If not, you should register it with Aladdin Systems. Call (408) 761-6200 and ask for Customer Service or send us the "Aladdin Order Form" found in the Read Us First folder in your CyberFinder folder.

2. Make sure you are using the current version of CyberFinder. If you are using a version earlier than 2.1.1, download the 2.x to 2.1.1 updater from the updates section of our web site.

3. Another possibility is if you are using small icon view, CyberFinder icons will show as generic.

4. You may also need to rebuild your desktop to restore the CyberFinder icons.
