Aladdin Systems, Inc. Ships CyberFinder(tm) 2.1.1

Upgrade Free To All CyberFinder Users

Watsonville, CA (March 18, 1997) -- Aladdin Systems, Inc. today announced the release of CyberFinder 2.1.1, an upgrade to the award winning Internet bookmark manager for the Macintosh.

CyberFinder 2.1.1 is a free upgrade to all CyberFinder users and is available now over the Internet. CyberFinder is an Internet bookmark manager allowing users to store, organize, and access bookmarks from the Macintosh Finder. CyberFinder supports a complete range of bookmarks including web sites, ftp sites, gopher sites, and even e-mail addresses. CyberFinder 2.1.1 ships as an updater for existing customers or a "try-before-you-buy" electronic installer that allows users to try out the complete product for a limited time and then purchase it over the phone after using the demo.

"Just on the heels of receiving 4 stars from MacWorld magazine for CyberFinder 2.0 we are excited to be shipping this new free upgrade," said Hillel Cooperman, CyberFinder Product Manager. "CyberFinder 2.1.1 now seamlessly supports Microsoft's Internet Explorer for Macintosh as well as Netscape Navigator. CyberFinder 2.1.1 also allows users to gather bookmarks from any HTML file and convert them into CyberFinder bookmarks while leaving the original HTML file untouched."

The latest version of CyberFinder takes advantage of Aladdin's own InstallerMaker technology to offer its "try-before-you-buy" installer. CyberFinder 2.1.1, and an electronic updater for users of CyberFinder 2.0 or 2.1 is available on Aladdin's CyberFinder home page at http://www.aladdinsys.com/cyberfinder/index.html.
