When I produced the dolphin maquette in bronze, a number of my collectors begged me to create dolphins in this less expensive material. The sculpture is different from the bronze, although to the same scale and subject. The "patina" is actually painted, not chemical reaction. I protect the finished piece with wax, just as with the bronzes.
